SNAU ATTRACTS THE LEADING AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION

Cooperation with stakeholders for Sumy National Agrarian University is a key area that allows to improve the quality of material and technical base, provide the educational services, create modern laboratories and comfortable educational spaces.
On March 2, representatives of MHP visited SNAU. On the recommendation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, employees of the personnel departments of Starynska Poultry Farm, a part of MHP, came to the university to work together in training qualified personnel in the field of poultry farming. The head of the personnel department at MHP Yuliia Logvynenko noted that the company is considering other prospects for cooperation with Sumy NAU: “Our cooperation can be implemented both in a long or short-term. When we talk about the long-term perspective, we mean the training of students, including a DUAL FORM as well as professional development of the teaching staff of the university. As for the short-term partnership, we are considering employment opportunities for your graduates, “ Mrs. Logvynenko said.
Such cooperation is beneficial for both parties. The head of the vocational training department of the PJSC MHP Olena Azieieva admitted that education is not to blame for the fact that a young specialist after the graduation is not ready for full involvement in the production process. The reason for this is the low level of participation of potential employers in the educational process. She wished that SNAU would become a participant in the process of improving educational programs in the field of poultry, bringing them closer to the real needs of enterprises.
At the same time the representatives of LLC Starynska Poultry Farm are ready for active cooperation. They would like to propose SNAU students to study using a DUAL FORM at their enterprises. “Modern educational programs do not take into account the problems of poultry. We need specialists in this area “, explained the company’s chief zootechnician Serhii Filatov.
Interested in recruiting as many young professionals as possible and ready to make every effort to train them, representatives of the “Starynska Poultry Farm” got acquainted with the educational facilities of SNAU, met with the deans of faculties, with students, learnt the material and technical base, laboratories, educational programs.
We hope that this meeting will mark the beginning of successful interaction between education and business. We have already got good examples preparing highly-qualified specialists for agro-industrial complex and agriculture.
